  • Street Performers-Asheville, NC
Asheville is a unique town that offers an outlet to all types of creative people. If you're downtown in the vicinity of the giant Zebulon Vance Monument, you're likely to see a variety street performers entertaining tourists and locals on any given Friday or Saturday night. I had an assignment for the Asheville Travel Guide to get some shots of these interesting characters in action. I spent a couple of weekends roaming around downtown with my camera hoping to capture the vibrance these people bring to the streets. I spent some time getting to know the street performers and it was amazing to see how passionate they are about what they do. Ko'Alani, a local artist who paints the faces of hundreds of people per weekend told me "I love being able to offer a living art to downtown Asheville, as well as the vibrant response's of joy from those I paint and those just looking on."
